During the Han Dynasty, the sport of Fencing was popular from the Imperial Court down to every street corner.  There were many schools and well known teachers.  Fencing scenes are popular subject matters on stone murals.

Rarely seen out side private collections and museum, Han Fencing Jian pre-dated western swords with similar hand guard systems for over 1000 years.

We bring the D-Guard Han Fencing Jian back to life based on specimens from private collections.

As fencing and training equipment, our Han Fencing Jian is built for durability and protection and has great handling and balance, a pleasure to spar and practice with.
