Peach Guard Wo Dao is based on an antique Ming Dynasty Wo Dao in LK Chen's private sword collection. Peach Guard Wo Dao was modeled after the Japanese Katana with a twist of Chinese design. While the scabbard, hilt, and fittings are of traditional Japanese design, the blade has a significant distal taper typical of Chinese long sabers, making Peach Guard Wo Dao agile and well-balanced in handling. The hand-guard features a distinctive peach blossom design.
